Use this email for corrections, feedback, data removal requests, broken tool reports, content suggestions, or questions about how OPT Pulse organizes community OPT and STEM OPT timeline information.

Response expectations

We prioritize data correction requests, privacy and removal requests, broken tool reports, and issues that could cause many users to misunderstand a calculator result. If your message is about a wrong date calculation, a public page showing outdated information, or a request to remove a submitted timeline entry, include the context needed to review it and we will treat it as a higher-priority site integrity issue.

We cannot answer individual legal strategy questions, review your immigration documents, decide whether you should travel, or tell you whether your specific F-1 status is safe. For those questions, contact your DSO or a qualified immigration attorney. OPT Pulse can explain how a public tool works; it cannot replace case-specific advice.

Response times vary with volume and the amount of detail provided. Clear, specific reports are easier to review than general messages such as "my case is late" or "is my OPT okay?" If a request does not include enough information to identify the page, case entry, or tool output, we may need to ask for clarification before taking action.

What to include in a correction request

If you believe a timeline entry, calculation, or guide is inaccurate, include the page where you saw the issue, the affected date or tool result, and a short explanation of what should be corrected. Screenshots can be useful, but please remove sensitive personal details before sending them.

Do not send full USCIS receipt numbers, SEVIS IDs, passport numbers, home addresses, birth dates, phone numbers, or private employer documents. OPT Pulse does not need that information to investigate most site issues.

Data removal requests

If you submitted case information and want it removed, send enough non-sensitive detail for us to identify the entry, such as the OPT type, approximate application date, approval date if applicable, and the page or submission flow you used. If the entry came from a public community source, include the public URL if you have it.

We try to review legitimate correction and removal requests within a reasonable timeframe. Some requests may require clarification if the information provided is not enough to identify the relevant entry.

Tool feedback

If a calculator or generator gives an unexpected result, please include the inputs you entered, the output you expected, and the output you saw. For example, a premium processing calculator bug report should include the premium clock start date, whether there was an RFE or NOID, the response received date if applicable, and the status selected in the tool.

Content suggestions

OPT Pulse grows from real student questions. If you keep seeing the same OPT, STEM OPT, EAD, premium processing, travel, or unemployment day question in student communities, you can suggest a guide topic. We prioritize topics that are specific, repeatable, and useful to students trying to make a decision.

No legal advice by email

We can review site issues, data corrections, and content suggestions. We cannot evaluate your immigration strategy, replace your DSO, or provide legal advice for an individual case. For urgent or high-risk situations, contact your DSO or a qualified immigration attorney.

Before you send sensitive details

Please keep messages focused on the website issue rather than your full immigration record. For most correction and bug reports, we only need the relevant page URL, the tool input that produced the issue, and the non-sensitive dates or categories involved. Avoid sending full receipt numbers, SEVIS IDs, passport numbers, I-20 copies, EAD scans, visa stamps, or employer documents unless a qualified professional specifically asks you for those records outside of OPT Pulse.

If you are unsure whether something is sensitive, leave it out of the first message and describe the problem in general terms. We can ask for narrower context if needed.
