By accessing or using OPT Pulse (optpulse.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

Description of Service

OPT Pulse provides a community-sourced tracking platform that aggregates and visualizes OPT and STEM OPT processing timelines. Data displayed on our charts, the Date Lookup tool, and the Predictor feature is collected voluntarily or sourced publicly from online communities such as r/f1visa.

The metrics provided—including average processing times, approval rates, and distribution breakdowns—are for informational and estimation purposes only. We are not affiliated with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) or any government agency. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

No User Accounts or Paid Services

OPT Pulse is an open-access dashboard. We do not maintain user accounts, require login credentials, or charge any fees for premium features. All filters, local configuration adjustments, and lookup queries are handled on a client-side basis.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use our platform responsibly. You agree not to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to aggressively extract dataset metrics from our site or disrupt dashboard infrastructure.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our hosting environments, systems, or source data repositories.
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the charts and lookup features.
• Provide intentionally fraudulent or highly exaggerated metrics when using any voluntary timeline submission channels.

Data Freshness and Client Caching

Our backend updates periodically. To ensure your dashboard data is not stale, you are advised to utilize a hard refresh (e.g., Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows or Cmd+Shift+R on macOS) if you suspect your local browser cache is out of sync with our live tracker feed.

Intellectual Property

The dashboard layout, custom visualization interfaces, chart implementations, and proprietary processing pace aggregation algorithms are owned by us or our open-source contributors. They are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Sourced community data snippets from r/f1visa remain the property of their respective platform authors.

Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability

The service and all statistical calculations are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without any warranties of any kind. OPT Pulse does not guarantee the absolute accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of crowdsourced data.

The "Predictor" and "Avg Days" metrics are strictly statistical estimates generated from past user-submitted data points and should not be used as official timelines or legal advice. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from immigration delays or actions taken based on our tracking estimates.

Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the site following an update constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
